Thought

first thing first..i was having a worship session today with leon and bert and spang, then i learnt something. We get fed through His word and our thirst is fulfilled by drinking of Holy Spirit. You know when we say are are drunk in the Spirit, meaning we are drinking of His presence. Many a times we do focus on either A or B. I do too. I have never been able to comprehend how the two are intertwined until today. Today i got a glimpse of it. You see when we eat we get full but it doesnt mean we are fulfilled. We dont get the complete meal, we are still left thirsty, we still need His Spirit to quench our thirst. Even when we eat in the natural, we need to drink in order to help chew our food. So we need to do it in the spirit as well. Same goes for when we drink, we get filled but our hunger is still there.

We cant separate the two, its not just about need both to live our lives but they intertwine. Without it, you wont get a complete meal. Even in the natural, when we dont get to eat or drink, we aren’t able to function properly. So in the same way, when we focus too much on either His word or His presence without learning about His word, we wont be able to live life to our fullest capacity.

Expanding on that thought, i wikied drinking and eating. These are the results.

Eating (also known as consuming) is the ingestion of food to provide for all organisms their nutritional or medicinal needs, particularly for energyand growth.

Drinking is the act of ingesting water or other drinks through the mouth. Water is required for many of life’s physiological processes.

Physiological : a branch of biology that deals with the functions and activities of life or of living matter (merriam webster dictionary)

It just makes sense lol… Okay so The word is used for our nutritional or medicinal needs. Knowing his word helps us to grow and gives us energy. (Shall explore that somemore tonight)

Drinking of Holy Spirit is for our physiological processes which is our daily functions and activities of our life. It makes sense in my head but somehow i cant get it out on paper…tune in for more
